Limitations yeah. He is also not the player he was 5 years ago either. At one point he was a great role player guard.
Lebron did his best and its crazy he is this good at age 39 but unsurprisingly the Lakers are old and washed. Bron also kinda needs to lie in the bed he made they could've had Hield and Derozan instead of Westbrick and Beverly. I also think the stars and scrubs model has been passed by the best teams in the league dont rely on 1-3 guys they have a deep ass team full of xfactors and decent players. If you look at Philly Embid, Harden and Maxey played great but they still lost cuz their bench is trash whereas for the Celts Malcolm Brogdon and Grant Williams popped off from the bench.
The Celtics were also missing Time lord Robert Williams arguably the best shot blocker in the NBA and Gallo. Their depth is outrages
I don't understand why Wiggins took a discount to Poole, I have a hard time believing Poole would have left over a few dollars, or if there was even a $30M a year market for a bench player. Wiggins being a #1 over all pick, all-star and only 27 years old and a legitimate 2 way player who should have been finals MVP, needs to get a better agent.
Wiggins was labelled as "overpaid" for years, I bet he didn't like that. Now's the chance for him to reverse that. I agree 2-way Wiggs being the more complete and important player should not be getting this much less than the young guy with less track record. In the end, it seems to be more about ego-management. Poole wants that first big contract, whereas Wigs already tasted the big (max) contract and didn't enjoy the criticism around it. It's not always about maximizing the do$$ars for some people.
