Prediction: jabari isn’t rookie bird (23 years old btw), jordan (21 and best player ever), or magic (top 5-8 player ever)
Probably not, but there have been NUMEROUS cases of top 3 picks turning teams around quickly....and one can hope! And what you said is probably what fans of those teams said too.... DD
I think the starting line up will keep us close and the bench will get destroyed night in and night out. Will be prone to going on losing streaks especially if green is hurt or struggling. Will also struggle in close games. All that to say maybe a 8 game improvement from last year
Maybe, I thought those guys were pretty well regarded but maybe not. They were also much older except magic
42 games win. Its not going to be easy. Some real dogfight games which will mature the team to take the next step.
Have them with a moderate 8-9 game improvement roughly, so maybe 28 to 29 wins. This is still a very young and inexperienced team and the rookies are a bit raw, so I don't think they'll be as consistent as some expect. Also we have a lot of issues when it comes to defensive rebounding and against opposing bigs.
@peleincubus here it is near opening night. My 31 win total now, might change after I see the Rockets playing in preseason. But right now, 31 win total.
My prediction...straight up .500 record - 41-41 Who in the West do we push out? I predict the below teams will not make the play-in or the playoffs San Antonio Portland New Orleans Minnesota Los Angeles If Rockets don't win at least 40 games this year...fire Stone
My prediction: A metric f&%k-ton of disillusioned ClutchFans posters thinking we have any shot at all of finishing with a play-in spot or higher.
W/L record will be 33-49, just barely good enough to save Stone's job. Individual player stats for everyday rotation players: Fred VanVleet: 19/7/4 on 41/37/90 shooting, 32 minutes per game Jalen Green: 24/4/4 on 44/35/80 shooting, 33 minutes per game Dillon Brooks: 15/3/3 on 41/33/79 shooting, 29 minutes per game Jabari Smith Jr: 14/8/2 on 45/35/81 shooting, 28 minutes per game Alperen Sengun: 18/10/5 on 57/32/74 shooting, 30 minutes per game Amen Thompson: 12/5/5 on 43/30/74 shooting, 24 minutes per game Kevin Porter Jr: 14/3/4 on 45/37/79 shooting, 24 minutes per game Tari Eason: 11/7/2 on 48/35/77 shooting, 23 minutes per game Jock Landale: 8/6/1 on 55/33/80 shooting, 17 minutes per game
Understood. I bumped part of a conversation between myself and @peleincubus to show what I said then. I don't believe he recalled what I said. He made a comment that it might be upside down world. Meaning I didn't say certain things. I give peleincubus his props.....two years in a row he said we would tank. He was right. I don't have edit abilities for past postings. I could have noted thread and posting # but it's been a long week at work.
This team over achieves at 38 wins. 35 wins would be a very successful step. Less than 35 would be disappointing but realistic when u consider what the rest of the league looks like.
