    I don’t see anything wrong with this deal. If reports are true and only the first year is guaranteed, it’s even better. Like it or not, KPJ has some things to prove. I’m rooting for him.

    I absolutely love this deal, it's perfect, and I'm very low on Porter.

    Porter will be rewarded if he proves himself to have matured and be a dependable part of a team trying to win. The Rockets can cut bait if he continues to be a brat headcase.

    The upside for Porter is there, it's impossible not to see. With the downside protected for us, I'm all for this.

    The fact that only the first season is guaranteed is huge. Really alleviates a lot of risk. I'm rooting for him.

    I'm still not sold on Porter, but this is a very team friendly contract thanks to the protections. If he's a bust or doesn't gel with the rest of the team, the Rockets can get out of that deal quickly.

    Rafael Stone is doing Jeff Luhnow-esque GOAT GM work for Htown. As much as we loved Morey, I wouldn't trade Stone for Morey. Couldn't ask for a better job in the rebuild. He just needs to hire a great coach once Silas is sent packing.
