Imagine winning 111 games in a season and not even get pass NLDS. What a waste of a season for the Dodgers
At this level every player is among the best on the planet. Hitting slumps much more often than pitching. The deeper a team's pitching is, the better the chances are of winning a series, especially a 7 game series This Astros team is historically deep in pitching. Yesterday was a Supreme example of that. This coaching staff has been masterful at using/resting the pitchers to maximize their effectiveness. 3 wins down, 8 to go. I love this Astros team
Love Klay Thompson in a Dodgers jersey showing up in San Diego to see his team (and brother) lose in person. Dodgers fan should blame him.
If the Yankees lose their series...and with the Dodgers out in the NLCS...how long before MLB revamps the playoffs again to ensure their favorites don't get dumped early again?
It is very possible I am confused. I remember events and scenarios much better than names and dates. I was thinking Pena because it's a rookie mistake. But I trust y'alls memory more than my own.
Here's their tactic - Because Correa already got the QO, he won't cost them a draft pick. With Turner, they can QO him and collect a comp pick. Seems like a very Dodgers thing to do. Besides, Correa is an upgrade defensively, and Turner had a few miscues in the series (though that's not why they lost).
Spent so much time last night reading Dodgers fans comments on Reddit. Love all the tears, so many of them asking for Correa, calling their team chokers, and saying their 2020 ring was a Mickey Mouse ring. it brings me great great pleasure.
What can they do though? MLB only have themselves to blame for the Dodgers losing in the NLCS last year. As much as I hate that team, it was absurd that they won 18 more games than the Braves but didn't have home field advantage due to them being the wild card and Atlanta winning their weakass division.
The Dodgers are GONE! The "team of destiny" is HISTORY. The Braves are GONE! WS Champions, OUT! And Seattle is still one of the rudest most unfriendly cities in the U.S. and to top it all, they are LOSERS! SWEPT! See Ya. Astros moving on.
They do have 1 more Super Bowl ring than Houston, so they've got something at least. I still love Seattlle, the city/area
1981- reds have best record in baseball and yet didn't make playoff b/c of the first half/second half standings
