They'll continue their strategy of cannibalizing all the teams that beat them, so they'll sign Correa.
So is it harder to that now with an ALDS series the Astros have to win first or was it harder for the Braves to do 8 series without being able to sneak into the playoffs with the WC for the first 5?
Totally agree, its scary when you can't beat a team while playing a nearly perfect game leading 7-2 in the 8th inning. It wasn't a choke by Seattle, its was just The Astros being absolutely dominant and great. While seeing Alvarez walk it off was incredible I can't say I was shocked that The Astros won. We've seen it over and over again since 2017. Over the past few years any real Astros fan will tell you you can't ever count The Astros out no matter how bad its going. The fact that they won these games the way they did is a lot more telling than if Seattle would have folded and every game was a blowout.
Everyone on the BBS should read this post and take it to heart. Listen to him, and you will be successful
I think they'll be similar. Would Bogaerts be cheaper? Does age come into play? Bogaerts is 30, Turner 29, and Correa 28.
Playoff baseball is so unpredictable. You can call it choking if you want, but the fact is that no team is safe...ever. Over 20 years since a repeat and the last 8 champs have all been different. If anybody besides us wins that will extend to 9. The Astros consistent ability to win in the first round is not normal in the slightest, long time Astros fans should know that better than anybody.
