    I was looking for any updates on Dikembe and haven't seen a thing. He used to post regularly on instagram but hasn't posted anything since this news. Hope the treatment is going ok.

    Do any of our members that have connections have any idea how he's doing? @ch44 @Nook

    It was his birthday on the 25th also. Happy belated 57th birthday Dikembe!

    No clue how he's doing, hopefully well, but Mutombo has great grandchildren that are 57 years old. When will he finally admit his real age?

    True story. I was living at the Royalton in Houston and so was Dikembe st that time with the rockets. One night I was with a friend who was a big fan and it just so happened Dikembe was leaving as we were coming in. My buddy just walked up to him and gave him a big hug. He was literally hugging his crotch because of the size difference. I was mortified. Dikembe was use to it and was so cool. There would be other players and celebrities where it could have gone a different way.

    this not to trivialize all of the big things he’s done as a humanitarian. Good guy and an amazing Rocket during his time.

    pray for Dikembe!

    I saw a post by Daryl a while ago in which he said Dikembe is really struggling. Did unfortunately not sound good, at all.
