Who's on the list and for what? I just wanted to go down memory lane because we tend to forget who has been in trouble with law enforcement and who hasn't. I think we have a few high profile names on the list.

Is this thread in response to the video footage on "Sportscenter" this morning of Steve McNair being handcuffed and then forced to take a breathalyzer test in the back seat of a squad car?

Sad, sad moment for Titans fans like myself. :(

McNair is up for an ESPY too, something relating to good character if I'm not mistaken. This ought to be interesting.

For anybody who doesn't know, that's old footage of the arrest last year, and conflicting testimoney may get the charge dropped anyway.

He was never found guilty, right? Something about his medication. I thought the charges on Rudy were dropped, too.

Right, but I think he still went to jail for it though and then bailed himself out. (trouble with the law).

Don't forget that in the short time Scottie Quitten was here, he managed to make the most of HPD's finest and their patrol cars...

As I'm sure you well know, he's had problems with more than that. But then I guess a lot of it wasn't while he was with the Astrps.

Probably the most famous brush with the law of a Houston athlete was Cesar Cedeño of the Astros. He was an acquitted murder suspect. Supposedly, a gun went off in his mistress’ hands and killed her. He disappeared for 8 hours before he turned himself in.

Warren Moon was never found guilty in that domestic dispute, either. His wife refused to cooperate with the prosecution. She was forced to take the stand against her husband, but she was definitely not cooperative. Moon was acquitted of the charges.

Didn't Scottie Pippen get a DUI?

My favorite is when Jame Worthy got busted w/ under cover hooker went to jail then next day lit up the Rockets. Only HPD could stop Worthy from scoring.

Nice call. Worthy thought he was with two of Houston's most eligible bachelorettes, and apparently Magic was in the elevator on his way to join in when the bust happened. Magic just missed getting busted himself.

Worthy got a standing ovation from the Summit crowd when we showed up onto the court.
