To extend KPJ or not?

If kpj ups his ppg and free throw percentage, there's really no reason to not extend him.

I'm sure it will ultimately have some effect on what Kevin below average Porter Jr. gets simply because his agent will bring it up, but there are a lot of things about Poole that will not be favorable comparisons for KPJ.

Poole is a bench player who plays no defense getting paid 35m a year

 

I think if KPJs efficiency the last two seasons was 58 and 60 TS% like Pooles we would have already signed him to a pretty lucrative extension.

And if KPJ manages to have a well over league average efficiency season this year he will probably earn himself a lot of money from us or someone else.

Preseason he had 2 low efficiency games and 2 Uber efficient games. We will see how it all plays out over 82 games.
