    Just enjoy the ride.

If we do then that means we already have our core and we are building something special.

If we don't then ah well, what most people expected, we'll draft another good piece hopefully.

As long as we play the young guys any outcome works for us.

This team could outscore and outdefend teams.

The question begs if they could do it consistently in tight situations.

Then they would win tons of games.

Silas does not strike me as someone who could coach consistently well, we'd wait.

We look so much better than last year.

We are young athletic and talented.

    We play better defense.

Silas will get a real shot this year.

What we were missing last year was a long forward type.
What a draft to pick up 2 of them to have a look at

This is a young player thing. The rookies will eventually hit the rookie wall sooner rather than later and the other young guys will have their ups and downs with inconsistencies across the board. Its not really a Silas thing, it's a young players thing.

Tari Eason I think will be the difference maker, he has shown to be extremely consistent, I think he has super star potential from the beginning, I am not as high on Sengun as others here, there will be a "Tari Eason is the best player thread soon. The West looks like it got much weaker overall. Suns, Lakers, Jazz, Spurs, everyone seems like they got worse. OKC loses their top pick for the year, Mavs lose their second best player and add Wood seems like a lateral move at best. Twolves are the only team that made a big move, and who knows if that move will be a good fit or not. The only teams that look better are just getting players back like Clippers and Pels. It may make sense to limit Tari's mins if they want a shot at Victor, not sure it the right move to intentionally tank from the beginning though.

Not expecting Eason to score 24 pt every night but the potential to win 32+ games is there because of immense talent.

I neither question the inconsistency nor do I truly care about making the Play In.

Young players also get injured when playing heavy minutes that would normally go to veterans.

It is what it is I guess.

He could be a better young Ron Artest meeting Paul George, that is what I am hoping.

    @peleincubus

I may have to adjust my Rockets win total from 34 wins to
    64 wins. Lol.

How many games did you predict last season and what you got this season?
Get back to me on that before opening night.

I was thinking this was a ridiculous thread but it seems like we are one backup pg upgrade and some more experience away from it.

Would be cool, but in the western conference and last year you had the worst record in league. I mean anything possible. I doubt 2 rookies like Eason and Jabari can propel you over vets bro. They been there and done that unlike 20-21 year old rookies. Closing out games when it counts, and playing defense is key.

Still no takers, huh? That's okay, you all will be on board soon enough.

No bet. Just thought more people would see how this team is much better than they think.

Eh... Paul George always had a serious offensive bag that I don't see Easin developing. Paul George was a smooth operator on offense. Dude had a really pretty game. Eason doesn't have that type of stuff. Dude is a keeper though.

Yes, our mid first round pick will probably add 10-12 wins, better limit his greatness.

I am not sure yet but to me he scored very efficiently.

I am not an avid Summer league or preseason watcher so there is definitely room for that.

As the likely third, fourth or fifth offensive option he has to either play himself into the spotlight or follow Mcgrady's path to unlock more of his repertoire.

He definitely has the potential for at least borderline Allstar if he keeps improving.

Yeah, I mean I always think of players like Sheed Wallace, Crash Wallace, Ron Artest whose games were not exactly 'pretty' or smooth but the numbers are there.

I would see like to at least see him refine his game there.
