The 5 spot isn't the same now as it was in Scola era, but I get where you coming from

Sengun will never be a dominant 5 on this team. Silas' run and gun offense works against what Sengun is good at, half-court offense ran through him.

If he was an elite defender, it probably wouldn't be as much of an issue but we all know he tries hard but just doesn't have the gifts to be an elite defender.

Our best bet is still to tank for Wembayama because that guy is a force on the defensive end, if not then I guess we can draft a PG and sign a FA center?

Didn’t y’all learn with Green? Young guys need time to develop, especially big guy.

He actually reminds me of a shorter Pau Gasol with fewer rebounds and less of a midrange dude.

    Both are seemingly Alpacas.

DMo was a plus defender, and was VERY quick for his size, much quicker than Sengun and much taller.

I get what your trying to say, he honestly doesn’t fit with the starter’s do to the speed and athleticism but to be fair he hasn’t played next to Jabari the last 2 games. I’d be more concerned if this continues with Jabari on the floor with him, but I think he’ll make Sengün’s life a bit easier on defense

Is Sengun 6’9 or 6’11? I thought he was 6’11, but people are in here calling him a 6’9 Center

He's listed at different heights on different websites, which is just dumb.

    Wikipedia? 6'11''.
    Basketball Reference? 6'9''.
    DraftExpress? 6'10''.

Meanwhile, this, from 9/26 of this year:

Yeah no one grows in their late teens. No one. An inch in a half I’ve a year in a half. Impossible.
