He was so good back in the day with OAK and such, but he is apparently a complete dickbag no matter where he goes.

Gurriel really picked it up tonight. I hope he can keep it up through the play-offs. It would be great to see him finish his career at the top of his game.

Wouldn't surprise me a bit if both these teams sweep their first round series.

And my guess is the other two series might go the distance.

Indulge me just a moment and pretend this is how it goes, with Houston and Atlanta both advancing.

Now...............In this scenario, it would be the Dodgers and Yankees rusty from a short series and long rest, and Houston and Atlanta just coming off big wins in their 3-2 series(s).

    Just food for thought :)

Padres are truly owned by the Dodgers. It’s pathetic.

I'm not saying that Dave Roberts is a horrible, horrible, manager, but I'm glad they called that one a HR and they won't fire him in LA.

You'd think Atlanta would get a retractable roof on their new stadium. It's hot there and you don't have to deal with rain delays.

I'll never not dislike the fact that roofless baseball stadiums legit put off expensive playoff games that fans plan around in bad weather.

I understand old stadiums - but the braves have a new stadium without a roof, why?

No matter how many times purists try to explain their perspective to me - I don't understand not being interested in a roof unless it has to do with the team's construction budget.
