    Mariners’ vaunted bullpen, and psyche, damaged by Astros in Game 1 ALDS comeback
    There were a multitude of frustrating parts for Seattle, but the bullpen’s inability to put away the Astros after building a 7-3 lead through seven innings will haunt them. As much as all the players talked afterward of “flushing the game” and moving on, the drawn faces and shocked looks in the clubhouse afterward gave a more accurate indication of how hard that will be.

    Not gonna lie, I kind of miss Correa jumping from the dugout in moments like this. Maaaan what an amazing run the Astros have been on. So many memories and so many classic reactions. This is the happiness version of the sadness that oilers gave me every year

    That huge home run by Bregman that even made this moment possible was of that 103 mph freak off nature Andres Munoz.

    You're welcome. I went back a read the entire thread. I decided everyone that stayed positive deserved a like. We need to out number the negative Nancys on here. I was working but listening during the actual game so other than texting with my cousins that are huge Astro fans I missed out here. I actually told them 4-0 and 6-2 too much baseball left, we are the Astros they are the M's it can sort itself out.

    I did just watch my replay of the game with my wife. I found it absolutely hilarious that Alvarez was actually licking his lips as he hit that homerun. It's like he knew it was coming has soon as the ball left Ray's hand. I saw Alvarez re-watch his last meeting on the iPad so maybe so.

    What an amazing game. Astros and fans get an extra day to enjoy this win meanwhile M's fans are being monitored for sharp objects and tall buildings.
