LOL... it's such an asian thing... I was officially the last Chinese guy to have one of these things a couple years ago when i started dating my girlfriend (who's from hongkong, like they invented this stuff). I don't like it per se... nothing does it for me like a frappacino... but Esse -- here are the flavors I suggest: peach, green apple... yeah i only like those two. Also... instead of bulba (or whatever they call those), ask for coconut jelly instead. i like those better. see if you like it next time.
I was hooked on those things for a while. It all depends on where you get them. I like Coco's cafe in austin compared to the other places. Id reccomend getting thai tea if you want something milky, but i dont like it with the tapioca balls. My favorite flavor with tapioca balls is grape slushie. The tapioca actually seems to take on the flavor of the slushie when you eat them. i think i might get one right now.
Somehow, I get this feeling that if you admit that you enjoy drinking that stuff, you should have to turn your man card in immediately!
I like cocanut flavored. I used to get them when I was working in San Jose, but I haven't had one since I left.
