22 caries for Burkhead would have been painful to watch. We'll just get 11 carries for Rex in the 4th quarter now.
6 targets 6 receptions 8 receiving yards longest reception? 8 yards. I'm not crapping on the guy at all I just found that to be a very Texan stat line.
Pep's genius play calling combined with Mill's check downs. We've seen from his runs if he has some space he'll make the most of it.
Yah, but can Pierce get 1 yard in 3rd/4th and 1? From how Lovie/Pep has run plays when in that situation, clearly Rex must be better at it. Right? Lmao
“Go country boy, go.” I love this. Before that run, iirc, something like 319 of his 303 rushing yards had come after contact. That's not ideal (for the OL and for him). The FB, Hairston (sp?) has been great in the I and offset-I formation. He's a keeper. Need a great TE so you can play off of that.
He had 102 until he was put on crash dummy duties. I was a Kubiak guy and hated when he'd feed the ball to Arian to run clock. Hits his body doesn't need. That's what Rex should be for.
