    That's certainly what he thinks he is, but that's simply not reality. He's more of a 6'4 PJ Tucker that can't shoot with less defense.

    Tate holds the ball way too long. He can do a little bit of everything, he just not a good jump shot. Takes too many threes.

    I think that year 2 leap is going to happen for Jalen. He just looks different. I look up and he has over 20 points and it was easy and within the flow of the offense. Against a team that gave him some issues last year.

    And Tucker couldn't handle / push the ball on a fastbreak like Tate, the reality is that the Rockets front office values the guy regardless of how you/me or whoever thinks of his game and what he brings to the table

    had Tucker been able to create off spin moves in halfcourt sets and run/lead a fast break then that would have made those past Rocket teams that much more dangerous in the playoffs than just being a one dimensional corner camper and playing hot potato with the ball as soon as you touch it as Tucker did, every team in the past 20 (at least) years has had a Tate / Tucker type, Rockets just transitioned from the older version to the younger one
