It's time for the Rockets to cut ties with Hakeem. The chemistry is not working and he is a blood clot away from being on the injury list for the remainder of the year. Yes, we rode his back to two titles (Clyde did contribute for the 2nd title), however, that was 6 years ago, it's time to retool and build chemistry with the young guys. I cannot blame Dream for wanting David Robinson type money when he is still better than David. Put Duncan on our Team and watch Dream play 82 games. However, that is not the case and we must move forward.

I'm not pleased with Cato at center, however, management made the decision and we must live with it. Put him to work, trade, or cut him. We need to send a message to Cato quick.

In addition, someone must light a fire under Mo Taylor to average at least 10 boards for a power forward. The point guard outrebounding the power forward is sick. Stop punking out against the better power forwards in the league. He guards Chris Webber as if he's afraid of him.

I have expressed my thoughts on Shandon, no jumper and little O, spells let him GO with the quicks.

Bottom line, it took 4 years and a couple of heart breaking loss to Seattle and Utah before the Rockets got over the hump. If we can trade Cato, Walt, and Bullard, maybe we can sucker the Grizzlies (they have replaced the Clippers in the poor management department)for a top pick (i.e. Center)

It's about time we had another Olajuwon thread, I mean why just add this post in someone else's Olajuwon thread when you can just start your own?

I may not agree with your take on Olajawan but you are absolutely right about needing a center! [IMG] But, what's out there is either too old or too young and underdeveloped. That's why I think we need to keep Cato and develop his potential.

I agree with the MAN 100%, if Cato is to amount to anything, give him a put up or shut up opportunity.

In addition, Dream may still have something left, but it only slows the transition of the team down.

    The DREAM is over !!!

Yes, Cato has potential...that's why his contract is killing our cap sapce! [IMG] His preseason block party(11 blocks in 1 game)a couple of seasons is what he can do when he tries. And, isn't CD one of the best big man coaches ever?!?

yeah, man, good idea, and then the rockets should trade all the crap on our team (cato, walt and bull) for a top-flight center like you suggested somewhere else. Good one.
