The Rockets look as though they are going to be great ! Nix however is just dreadful and should not be the back up Point Guard for the Rockets ! I wonder if we will actually trade Gordon and just have our our young team >
This roster is far from final. I think they are giving Nix a chance to show if he can be that backup PG. With the amount of cap space we have and moves yet to make, I can see Stone finding a vet back up PG, or just a much better younger one. Hell we may already have him on the roster now (TyTy). We have to give it time. We won’t really need that player for another two years (hopefully) when we are ready to start filing in the roster holes to build a contender.

Our point guard position is the weakest on the team for sure. We desperately need a taller pass first guard who can space the perimeter. KPJ is trying to do that but he just doesn't have the natural vision you'd wish he has. Haliburton would be perfect on this team.
Didn't most of this board say the same thing about Hartenstein? He earned his extremely limited role on the team by dominating the G-League. I'm not sold on Nix either, but he has earned his spot. Someone needs to perform better before we boot Nix.
We can survive with KPJ, but need a better backup. Remember that KPJ has issues that may lead to departure or suspension at some point in the future, so it’s critical that we address the backup pg position soon!!!
