3 teams did it, 5 had ERAs under 3 and the league average was 3.06. AL adopted the DH the next season.

 

No one said math would be involved.

Yankees finish the season on a quite a roll going 50-47 in their last 97 games.

 

They did play better down the stretch. Here's hoping the time off kills their momentum.

 

Everything changed when they played the Astros.

 

MLB couldn’t have asked for better playoff market representation.

As for the Astros — I just don’t see how we don’t make it to another ALCS. Cleveland especially could give the Yankees problems.
