    3 teams did it, 5 had ERAs under 3 and the league average was 3.06. AL adopted the DH the next season.

    They did play better down the stretch. Here's hoping the time off kills their momentum.

    MLB couldn’t have asked for better playoff market representation.

    As for the Astros — I just don’t see how we don’t make it to another ALCS. Cleveland especially could give the Yankees problems.

    And they changed the FUNDAMENTAL Concept of playing both offense and defense forever. Some love it, others like myself HATE IT.

    How much? I'm still complaining 50 years later.

    The Astros should make the ALCS, but I’m worried about Toronto’s pitching in a 5 game series.
