I hope Iko is wrong about this. Love KJ chemistry with Sengun and Green. Would rather trade EGo, Nwaba, Tate or all the Mavs rejects before KJ.
I like him as well and I think we should keep KJ and continue to develop him. Just because his father stuck his nose in his son's business doesn't mean we have to lose a talented player. Sure, we may end up moving him, but I'd prefer not to.
He is also a fringe role player so quite frankly, no one outside of his circle actually cares about what he wants.
Better option than Bruno Fernando? Likely available around Bucks pick. But this kid should still be the ultimate goal for 2023 draft.
Rockets should keep an eye on LaMelo Ball, the Hornet's fortunes turned over the offseason. They have cap space clearing up in 2023 and really clearing up in 2024, but don't have much else. LaMelo could be getting antsy over the uncertainty of the direction. They are barely a play-in team again. Adding LaMelo to Green, Tari, and Bari would be awesome and very complimentary. It would cost us our war chest and some of our young players but would end the rebuild.
Warriors are waiving Mac Mclung. Rox should drop Nix and pick him up. Would be a nice spark plug off the bench. Dudes fun to watch. Scrappy. Hustles his ass off. TyTy will bring what you want but can't get from Nix. Very redundant. Mac brings something completely different.
You would think so, but then there’s that nasty reality that no-one is offering that yet. If the Rockets want to try for the play-in they will keep him. If they are doing the unintentional intentional tanking thing, then they will take what they can get.
Honestly do not know enough about Hudgins, but what MM brings is known. Was just a far fetched shout out, but they need a spark off the bench. Who provides that as we stand? JC maybe. To me he's in the G Matthews mold. Straight scrappy. Who knows. Not feeling it with Nix.
