    Nix… Washington… Maledon.

Washington protects the ball the best.

Maledon is definitely the best penetrator.

Nix has talent and natural aptitude but it doesn’t always come out on the floor.

I know the Rockets have invested a lot of work and time in Nix but Maledon has more upsize and Washington is a better foil for KPJ.

I see Nix the way I see Garuba. He gets hype from some people but realistically he projects as the 3rd string pg behind KPJ and Tyty. Cool if he plays well and cool if he doesnt.

All I care about from this position is protecting the ball while bringing it up and giving it to our stars Sengun, Jabari, Green.

That's why TyTy is my choice.

For someone built like Nix, he better have Steve Nash level passing and vision to make up for his lack of size, quickness, and everything else.

He's shown flashes of great vision and passing, but it is not very consistent. Because of his chunky build, he's also quite slow on defense.

Nix is pretty low on the players I'm looking forward to watching this season. The Rockets saying he was lottery talent was just propaganda clearly.

If he breaks out, then great!

    Geez....

Nix role on the ROCKETS is different than his one on the Vipers where he was more of a KPJ type of attacking PG.

Here in Houston as backup PG he is being asked to feed others, it is a thing that will take a bit of time as he learns whom he is primarily playing with and WHERE they like to get the ball to be more effective.

He is a fine player - just give him a little room to grow.
