So I have an employee who just got it for the 5th time. Is this some kind of record? lol She's ok. (also: she look (very) ok (Scola face))
Well, I was in the same room with her three days in a row last week...seems like everyone else who was in that room got Covid as well. I don't have any symptoms, so don't really feel like testing myself.
If these stats were true, winning the Florida elections should be a piece of cake for the Dems, right? Let's see...
This is "The Hammer and the Dance " guy... Throwback to early episodes of Pandemic Season 1! Make sure you disinfect your packages!
Yeah, I think it must have played a role, I do it during allergy season and use flonase (like all the time....) - I am wondering if the flonase played a role too, ie with the nasal steroid less likely to have high immune response and maybe less severe case. I've seen conflicting studies, but it does look like regular flonase users might have had less severe cases (when using regularly before exposure period, I think one study tossed out starting use of flonase after exposure). I'm sure this is still being looked into and could change, but I am also thinking by now I had to have had some variant , I don't really want to test that out though *knock on wood*. So I'll say some combo of it must have helped, since I had no down time... my allergies sure suck though. The nasal rinse/sprays at least make travel/living in Austin area manageable.
That's wild. I hadn't heard that about Flonase. Makes sense though based on the very little I know about the mucosal immune system. I'm actually chronically dry in my sinuses, with food allergies/sensitivities and some other immune system stuff to boot, so I use saline sprays on occasion (not as much as I should though, TBH). The really nice thing about my last official bout with covid was just having a runny nose. Of course I was happy when it went away and could resume my normal routine. It's very possible the Flonase did the trick, or you might have had a mild case at one point and mistook if for allergies, or maybe your immune system just kicked its ass. Hopefully you continue to successfully dodge it and your allergies become less of an issue for you in time.
Not when it has one of the highest amounts of hate groups in the nation. That, and a whole lot of rich white people. Those people all tend to vote for a White Nationalist right wing guy like DeSantis.
I think Twitter shouldn't censor this. I don't think they had enough time to make an informed decision (since the data was not published for peer review). Plus, seriously, only an idiot will take FL Surgeon General at face value when it comes to vaccination. Just let it be and let the medical community review and publicly debate the topic.
