It will probably be moot shortly, but if the HOU wins their remaining 6 and LAD loses their next 6 vs COL, The first (H/H;0/0) and second tie breakers (Intradivision Record; 51/25) will also be tied. I'll worry about the third tie breaker (Interdivision Record) before the next series if it's still in play.

Notice they added 2 playoff teams but every playoff team is still at least 11 games over 500 MLB will use that to try and get 2 more teams in the playoffs.
MLB has always been able to add 2 more teams in their playoffs. That's been true for a long time. every year you see a couple teams with very good records not in the postseason because of the limited number. The reason why mlb playoffs are soo good from the beginning is because every single team that played is truly good. and it still left room for 1 or 2 more teams in each league. There is no case for an additional two more because every team after the 6 that make it dont have a true case of being a real playoff team. being barely above .500 does not make you a playoff team.
2 15 team leagues. Eliminate divisions and interleague play. 14 x 12 (6H/6A) 168 games plus WS. Just go straight to Astros vs Los Angeles Dodgers in the WS. As you can tell, I'm fed up with everyone gets a participation trophy playoff formats.
