Idk y folks focus on the vp so much. When trump was president, I didn't even noticed pence. Only thing he was useful was not listening to trump on Jan 6. Harris right now as vp, is basically a tie breaker for senate. I don't know much of what she actually do.
Pence marked the White Christian Male checkbox Trump could never fit inside, and ended up holding Trump's bag for almost the entire four years. Always stood silent behind him with a knowing nod like the wife cheating politicians prop next to at a press conference the morning after. I don't know what Pence did (ok maybe some covid stuff since he and Blix were the insiders that held back Trump sending fauci to gitmo...), but I have a blur of what he said...god...america...bless... victory...blessed... Christian faith. All he did was act like a hotplate in case Trump bit it and needed to nominate a scrotus seat. I like the earlier point about Pete showing more capability than Kamala. I think she was a capable prosecutor at one point, but I don't hold her in high esteem as a 2 year jr senator or a vp. She needs some wins or her career will crater like Dan Quayle, another vapid politician chosen for their looks and demographic appeal.
What I hear is that when we give aid, we need to consider the circumstances of the communities we give aid to, and that we may need to deliver more or different aid to historically underserved communities to accomplish the rescue mission because their disaster needs may be different or more dire because of those circumstances that existed before disaster struck. But I guess Commodore hears that Harris thinks they should write bigger checks to black people for being black.
