It seems to me that the Jazz and the Rox have some roster rebalancing to consider, in a complementary manner. For example, Arroyo and Ostertag (Okur) are superfluous to the Utes. Juwann and Pike are similarly redundant in Roxland. I'm guessing CA will be signed for @ Pike's contract, and GO for @60% of the MLE. Pike is a Sloan-type player (last year was an abberation for EP) and Howard has been on Utah's radar. Utah probably gets the better of this, but -- If the four were traded for each other, with their SnT's, then Rox could have a 1 (even if BBarry surfs into the Gulf) and a back-up 5, @2 mil more to use towards the MLE and/or TE, both of which would remain as usable assets.
Michael Doleac is used to be on Orlando's untouchable list a few years ago. I took a class together with Miller when I was in Utah.
For whatever it's worth, people who live in Utah are referred to as "Utahns". I think Utes sounds better, but it probably offends the Ute tribe.
Yup. My wife actually taught Rafael Araujo last semster. Aparently he wasn't very bright, and managed to find ways to not come as often as possible.
Don't call 'em Utes. Call 'em Jazzholes. clip from My Cousin Vinny: Vinny: It is possible that the two utes... Judge: ...Ah, the two what? Uh... uh, what was that word? Vinny: Uh... what word? Judge: Two what? Vinny: What? Judge: Uh... did you say "utes"? Vinny: Yeah, two utes. Judge: What is a ute? Vinny Gambini: Oh, excuse me, Your Honor... [exaggerated] two YOUTHS. -- droxford
Hey, you want to go to some Rockets games together this coming year in DC? You know what? I might go to that Raptors game too.
Actually, the Ute Tribe has been pretty cool over the years with the team being named the Utah Utes. At least I think they have, haven't seen many major stories over the years about them wanting the University to change it. That said, I highly doubt half the population (Cougar Fans) would like being called 'Utes'.
