I can do John Lucas job by just shoving Jalen's ass and putting my hand up, with one tenth of John's salary. Anyone else is in? :D

To be fair, there was no way Ego was only 215 last year.

Is the goal here to get Green used to not elevating so much and releasing quicker?

    Perhaps?

My initial thought would be it is to keep his hips square to the hoop when he shoots. From memory early last year he shot side on a little bit.
Accuracy tends to be higher if your hips and shoulders are squared up.

Yeah that makes sense. I'm just guessing because I haven't seen that before.

The test required 12 sprints to the free-throw line extended, a 90-second rest, 12 more sprints, another rest, and then 12 more sprints.

“Scoot’s (Kevin Porter Jr.’s) conditioning is out of this world,” Silas said. “He killed the conditioning test. He was great, Jalen (Green) too did a great job with the conditioning test. K.J. Martin did a very, very good job.

“(Jae’Sean Tate) put in a ton of work. His body right now, he looks amazing.”

“Whew,” rookie Jabari Smith Jr. said. “It was tough but I’m happy everybody got through. We all pushed through it, and we ended up finishing the practice on a good note.”

Said rookie guard TyTy Washington Jr., “Whew, it was hard. It was hard. But you know, Coach told us about this four weeks ago, so we had some time to prepare. Every single guy made it, so it just shows the preparation we put in leading up to this point paid off.”

Guard Sterling Brown, who was out with an illness, and center/forward Marquese Chriss, who is rehabbing after last season’s knee surgery, were the only players who did not participate in Tuesday’s practices.

I'm willing to be wrong, but I'm very confident it's to help him jump straight up and down so he lands in the same spot that he shot from. That's why Lucas is watching his feet during each shot.

Similar to how players don't jump on their free-throws, less forward jumping (specifically on a spot-up) should mean more consistency.

I hope the Rockets social media team steps it up this year

Why can’t we have a video series about the team like the BK Nets and other teams have? We could get to know the guys more, see some behind the scenes stuff, and just watch the overall vibes of the squad.
