KPJ*, Green, Jabari, Alp, Wemby lineup with Eason, Tate, JC, Garuba and TyTy off the bench would be a dynasty
Because it was said to be inaccurate before and surely it’s not accurate again. Pointless to release this information and lie.
KJ: I'm just here to do my job. Reporter: What do you think your role will be with the new bigs in the draft. KJ: I'm just here to do my job. I'm just here to do my job. I'm just here to do my job. (1/2 second later) KJ to agent: You better do your damn job and get me F outta here!
KJ is being empowered by his dad. You'd think a 3rd year player would be coming into training camp with the fire to earn his minutes. He isn't entitled to them, it's not as if he has shown some all star/superstar potential. He is bound to be a role player off the bench for his career unless he improves his handles substantially and he becomes a good wing that can give you penetration and kick out. It's too bad he is being impatient, I've enjoyed watching him as a Rocket.
Completely agree. Improved handles would take him to another level. Otherwise he'll be a career role player off the bench. Wonder what noticeable improvement we will see from him in the pre-season if any at all.
KJ can barely crack the rotation of the worst team in the league. That should let him know exactly where he stands from a talent and ability standpoint. If it wasn't for his dad the guy would be working a regular job right now. He's just not good. At anything that really matters. He should try harder to be Jaesean Tate than....whatever weird tweener he currently is.
I agree it’s cringe worthy, but yet oft repeated. There are too many broadcastisms to eschew getting blown up over.
Man, I agree. That would be like a younger Yao and McGrady with a much better supporting cast than what they had. I have doubts the Rockets would get the #1 pick but that would be an amazing team to have.
Honestly that question of “they drafted 6’8 & 6’10 players to replace you. How do you feel about that” was pretty disrespectful lol
Very disappointed to see this. He could have at least pretended to be happy about the upcoming season and ready to prove himself worthy of more playing time than the rookies just drafted. If I were his dad and agent, I would have reminded him that the team(s) he wants to get traded to will be watching. No matter how talented he is or will become, his attitude will determine his altitude. If he can't outplay Tari or Jabari, then he definitely needs to be traded. Increase your value first though young gun. Go out there and wreak havoc.
Huh, KJ has NBA level athleticism and would be doing more than a "regular job" if he wasn't related to his dad. No need to exaggerate.
I believe KJ has a better +/- when paired with Sengun that Tate does. He wasn't benched because of his lack of contributions. It was a mistake by the coaching staff and a cluster of guards that blocked his ascension. Plus he's young. I understand how that might be upsetting. Hopefully he's improved his ball handling and gets more shine here or elsewhere.
