I don't agree with most of Commodore's posts, but he is mostly civil despite whether the replies to his tweet posts merit or not.
I actually liked a lot of @Commodore posts thinking that he was trying to bring attention to the craziness on the Republican/MAGA side. But outside of disagreeing with some of the tweets he's shared, and some of his views, I really have nothing bad to say about him (or her) as a poster here. In fact he's shared a few things, like the stuff about bad fats, that I appreciate. There are others here that truly deserve their own special threads. But I'm sure they would enjoy the attention...
I feel like the difference between good and bad conservative posters on this bbs is determined by the copypasta rate. There's this breed of conservative here, which is unfortunately the majority, who does nothing but **** post hot takes from Twitter, cringe comics, or at best some concern trolling articles. Most liberals here, as annoying, petty, or shallow as some are, do largely post their own thoughts and ideas. And I can at least respect that.
To me what u just describe is really the realistic portrayal of conservatives vs liberals. U can go outside and interview liberals v conservatives about their thoughts on Biden. Most liberals will give u a well thoughout answer and is willing to expand on their thoughts while most conservatives will regurgitate Tucker Carlson talking point. U ask folks to expand on it and they still give u Tucker Carlson talking points. Not saying all liberals know what they are talking about and all conservatives are walking talking Tucker carlson/Ben sharpio robots, to me its in general.
I actually think he's employed by the GOP or works for a State Rep or something and it's an incredibly slow day working under the Chief of Staff or something. Kinda think basso works for military industrial complex or is at the very least heavily invested in it. Tends to post pro-war stuff aimed more at throwing money to fund the manufacturing of new military gear. Was that way in the early 2000s when he did more of what Commodore does now with all his pro-Bush and Cheney propaganda back in the day. You know what conservative poster I really respected back then? Refman. Wonder whatever happened to that guy. I always thought he was a very reasonable and sincere poster.
Speaking of... @MojoMan hasn't been around in 6 weeks. Did he catch a ban? Or has he chosen to remove himself from the board? Something else more sinister?
I'm much more offended by blatant misinformation, than whether someone cusses or is antagonistic. Commodore routinely posts stuff that is clearly, factually, false and ignores it when proof of this is presented. He is not acting in good faith and that is offensive.
Oh man. The mid 2000s basso propaganda machine was the stuff of legend. I thought he was going to kill himself when Obama won.
