Maybe i did not watch enough of Detriot
but whats is so great about OKUR?
reminds me of people Hyping Boki

I liken Boki and see alot of potential
but i'm not one to give potential MultiYear
big dollar contracts [See Mo T , Cato, Moochie, Maloney, etc]

Okur's tough. Before Sheed took his starting job, Memo was averaging something like 12ppg, 8rpg. When they first played us (Yao's 20/20 game), JVG commented that Okur was getting more rebounder per 48 than Big Ben. He can step out to the 3pt line and has some nice low post moves.

Foyle is getting $41.6M/5yrs. He's averaged 4.6PPG and 5.2RPG in 7 years with the Warriors. I guess they're banking on his "potential."

Suddenly, the Cato contract doesn't look so bad.

    On follow-up :

I checked Patricia, and she has 12 teams last season over 60 mil. Worst, of course, were NY, Portland, Dallas and Minnesota, all more than 70

So, I guess that's not so strange. I must have been wrong about the lux threshold. I just remember the grousing about us at 55 mil. Still seems like a lot of dough.
