It doesn't make you an insurrectionist, but you are part of the problem. Biden was correct in labeling you as such.

The election was not compromised. It has been tried/investigated/recounted/audited.

The investigations were done by Republicans and Trump appointees. Some of the cases were decided by judges from Trump's campaign.

People that don't accept a free and fair election are absolutely part of the problem. Since you don't believe in violent criminal opposition, you are not the worst part of the problem.

By no means am I imposing rules of any sort. This is a discussion board, discuss or don’t discuss, it is entirely up to you.

It is true that both Dems and Republicans expressed concerns about election integrity. But to offer some “nuance” that you mentioned, isn’t that general statement where the similarities end?

- Dems: foreign forces interfered with the 2016 election; yet somehow there was a peaceful transition of power.

- Republicans: Dominion voting machines were tampered with (comical and now the basis of a huge lawsuit against Trumps team); mail in ballots are entirely a fraudulent exercise and the counting of those ballots was clearly fraud (patently false; mail in ballots counted later in the evening and into the morning after walk up voting, as always); 50 plus lawsuits that all failed; refusal to allow the peaceful transition of power, all of which resulted in the J6 insurrection.

BLM - “get in their faces, make them uncomfortable.” Does BLM hold public office? I thought you were upset at Biden calling the extreme MAGA.

Which brings me to my final point — is it actually true that Biden said all MAGA are bad people? Or all republicans are bad people?

I’m wondering if you know what the man actually said. He called out extreme MAGA, the people who are election deniers, supporters of the J6 criminals, people who believe those criminals are patriots.

You don’t take the position that “extreme MAGA” = “all MAGA” or all republicans, do you?

In another thread, Roxran went to great lengths to make his point that he believed that those people are a small fraction of republicans. I believe Joe Biden expressly said that as well and said he wasn’t talking about all republicans.

So what is bothering you about Biden’s words exactly? It does not appear that you consider yourself to be part of the “extreme MAGA” that he called out.

Then perhaps you don’t like being reminded that the Republican Party is beholden to Trump and his extreme MAGA election deniers/J6 supporters, and an attack on them is an attack on you?

Imagine trying to condemn Biden and his rhetoric while proceeding to make excuse/downplay Trump's rhetoric has on the MAGA folks.
Trump literally rile the folks up to take action on Jan 6, but nah Biden is the evil one.
