    President Joe Biden said he believes the Covid-19 pandemic is “over” in an appearance on CBS’ “60 Minutes,” but acknowledged the US still has a “problem” with the virus that has killed more than 1 million Americans.

    “The pandemic is over. We still have a problem with Covid. We’re still doing a lot of work on it. It’s – but the pandemic is over,” Biden said.

    Like I said about abortion and prohibition on alcohol. The ban on assault weapons ain't gonna work. If we can't even get folks to wear a mask during a fking pandemic no way those gun happy folks with give up their assault rifles willingly

    I think you’re saying that those who have assault rifles will use them if there is a ban.

    I doubt Biden means a mass confiscation. If there is a ban it likely will grandfather in weapons already out there. It’s also. Yea unlikely given the makeup of Congress they there will be another assault rifle ban.

    Banning future sales of ar-15s I think at least from my experience with this type of crowd will result in at the very least some sporadic violent riots.

    Australia before their ban didn't have some deep cultural connection to the ar-15. I'm dead serious when I say that weapon in particular has a deep cultural value in this country.
