It’s always going to be easier eating at home but when eating out I always ask for cheese and sauce on the side. If I’m getting a steak I order with just salt and pepper, no butter or oil. For the side I’ll do some steamed rice and a salad or bowl of fruit. You can’t control everything but you can chop off a decent amount of calories.
