Oh, you know, it was nothing big, just introducing a couple of them here and there, having them open a few dates, etc. It's not as if GNR wouldn't have become huge anyway, but it's Vince Neil we're talking about. I'm pretty sure he feels as though EVERYONE owes him something. Nothing sadder? Or nothing funnier? Ha, yeah, that was cold. Neil was actually far from flip about that incident, but I'm not all that sympathetic to a bunch of guys who thought nothing of boozing and drugging all night and then decide to pop into an Italian sports car and bomb down to the liquor store. As far as the Izzy attack, well, Neil maintains that he didn't run away but was instead confronted by Axl who proceeded to back down rather than fight Neil right there backstage. Neither version of the story would really surprise me, though. On another note, I've wondered for a while whether your name "coma" is from the GNR song of the same name? Because that's my favorite Guns tune!
Yup! Best Guns song, imho. Followed by Estranged. Lyrics blow me away every time. No greatest hits is complete without this song.
