    Any news on a replacement? Don't know why, but R. Small just drives me crazy. Not very good.
    Thought they were going to make a quick change w/ someone from a major network (Chronicle stated an ex-ESPN ancor a long time ago).

    Russ Small sucks.

    My dad tried to meet him one time at a Rockets party and he blew him off even though Russ was just chilling out and no one was around him.

    I am so glad the Texans did not pick him up.

    Marc Vanderbeek-mer is way better than Russ Small.

    Channel 2 News is unwatchable. I didn't even know Russ Small was working there.

    Berman and Tim Melton are the only sports guys in town worth watching.

    let me tell you something right now. if channel 2...or any network channel...hires ric freaking renner...i will literally erase that station from my television's memory.

    hey, steve wasserman...want to lose a viewer ENTIRELY??? just hire freaking renner. and i'm history.

    don't think i'll do it? i will! don't talk back to me. i freaking can't stand that guy. i've literally torn out clumps of hair (yes, clumps is a word) while watching this freak. worst. tv. personality. ever.

    Roberts is doing a new "Sports Sunday" type show on Friday nights ("Sports Off-Center") starting this week.

    Go tell him in person. His regular gig is selling cars at Momentum BMW.

    I'm a broadcasting major hoping to get into the sports side of the business, and let me tell you something: Ric Renner gives me hope EVERY TIME I SEE HIM AND HIS RIDICULOUS HAIR on my idiot box (emphasis on "idiot").

    I was walking out of the cowgirls/Texans scrimmage at UH two summers ago and he was standing outside the stadium talking to someone, and even his conversational tone made me want to shove a pair of scissors in my eye.

    I guess what I'm trying to say is I feel your pain. Literally.

    (Oh, and apologies for the ALL CAPS. I usually try not to yell in here.)

    Russ Small said he was selling cars when he was on 610 the other day. He called in and was joking that the Lance and John got him fired. I almost felt sorry for him.

    Breaking news a kid fell off a bike in SW Houston. Our reporters are currently in route.

    Breaking news a rain drop fell in downtown. Lets bring in Frank and cut away from regular programming.
