Dubon is slightly quicker, but Chas's top speed is slightly faster (28.8 vs 28.2 ft/sec). In the OF, Chas gets better jumps on the ball (reaction and initial route to the ball) allowing him to cover more ground in the OF regardless of Dubon being slightly quicker (36.5 ft versus 34.5 for 1st 3 seconds). On the base paths, Chas's top speed makes them a dead heat over 90 feet.

Dubon has a better arm (though he's no Alvarez). This is why Dusty has said Dubon starts when JV pitches. Chas only hits LHPs a lot better, RHPs a lot better, is faster, and covers more ground in the OF.

They win despite him. What do politics have to do with Dumbo? Guess I am missing that. You just manufacture garbage.

You know what's really dumb, constantly bringing up someone's political leanings in any argument. How about stfu about that and just go to D&D?

When his political leanings seem to cloud his judgment on a particular manager, not dumb at all.

So you trust Click and Crane to upgrade, but don't trust them if they decide Dusty is still the right man for the job?

    Makes total sense.

LOL. You don't win 100+ games Despite your Manager. Again, I question your intelligence.

They win despite him because they probably have the most talented roster in baseball

There's a reason Dumbo has never won a WS as a manager. Look at the teams he's had

It is impossible to take anyone seriously who resorts to childish and disrespectful "nick names".

Seriously. Dumbo? Really? Anyone know what elementary school @King1 goes to? They really should not let him have his cellphone so much during school.

Indeed - it's called probability. If Tim Worrell and his 2.25 ERA doesn't give up 3 runs late in Game 6 of the 2002 World Series, Dusty has a ring 20 years ago. Would Tim Worrell making one or two good pitches have changed Dusty from a terrible manager to a great one?

Dusty Baker isn't going to decide who is and isn't in the rotation for the playoffs. That decision is going to be made by the general manager after a lot of discussions with people such as Josh Miller, Bill Murphy and scouts. In the past the Astros have even had Sarah Gelles, Charles Cook and even former players involved in the decision on what the line up and rotation should be. Things are a lot different than they have been in the past. The days of cutting edge organizations letting managers decide play off matchups are over. There is too much information available now. The Astros are not the White Sox.

He doesn't win as a manager. It's pretty simple to digest. If he had a ring as a manager it would certainly enhance his resume. He'd definitely be elevated

Honestly, what's wrong with you? That's you're comeback? I'm concerned for your mental stability and someone should alert your mommy.

Also, it wasn't in a WS game but the Bartman incident probably cost him an additional shot at a WS.

Well I'm not the person mentioning elementary schools and don't know any adult who says "mommy ". Probably want to check in with whoever you need to so we can keep you on the sexual offender database

There are A LOT of people rooting for Dusty to win a WS. Many people who hate Astros. Dusty has paid his dues. He will go into the HOF. I think Dusty is content whether he wins a WS or not.

Dusty Baker isn't who I would have picked to manage the Astros after Hinch proved he lacked a backbone or lied about the cheating scandal, you pick whichever. Personally I think he should have lied like hell and said he didn't know anything about it. Had he done that and talked to the players before hand, I suspect the Astros would have gotten away with it. Whatever, that is for a different day.

The point is that I would not have chosen Dusty Baker. However, having said that the most important thing that a manager does, especially coming off controversy is keep the clubhouse united and focused, and it is hard to argue that Dusty hasn't done that. He has deferred to veterans for leadership when needed, and has kept the younger players on the same page as the veterans. The line ups and in game decisions are secondary to that. I don't like that Baker doesn't defer to the analytics and scouting reports of the Astros during the season, but the Astros are still running away with the AL by 7.5 games and are on pace to win 106 games.

When it comes to the playoffs, Hinch didn't decide the line ups or rotation and neither does Dusty Baker so a lot of the concerns about Baker are not concerns in the playoffs.

I don't think that Dusty Baker is really a problem for the Astros FWIW. I know for a fact that Click would be open to someone else that he can consistently talk and bond with, someone that sees the game the same way he does. However that isn't always a good thing either, look no further than the trashcan scandal.

IF you know exactly why I said then why did you respond to me with a full on paragraph of derp about something I did not say? Or, is this you doubling down on the idiocy that the way for Chas to learn to hit RHP better is to not hit against LHP?
You are a clownshow. Just admit you ****ed up and didn't understand/read what I said and made a very stupid post. Don't throw down an even dumber one in response.
