"intangibles" is your euphemism for Trump was ineffective.

as evidenced by his ill-conceived trade war, hurting the US consumers/farmers, as well as causing havoc to the global supply chain

    just the opposite.

when Trump asked the President of Mexico to just say that Mexico will pay for the border wall,
el presidente de mexico le puso el dedo significante, [IMG], a la cabellera naranja.

also, when Trump started the trade war, not only China had retaliated, so did US allies such as Canada, Japan, France, Germany and others

    CCorn is being sarcastic.

    :)

    Biden has been great.

Can add that brought NATO back together
Helped the Ukraine fight Russia to a standstill
Weakening Russia on a global scale.

Allowed the DOJ to do their job without interference
Called out the GOP MAGAts for the threat they are to our democracy due to their ignorance of truth and facts.

Tried to upload all of Brandon's accomplishments to an AWS S3 bucket and it gave me "WARNING: Your file may be too big to process" and then all the lights in all the Whole Foods in America went out.

    Biden says ‘pandemic is over’
Impromptu remarks in ‘60 Minutes’ interview may complicate White House struggle to secure additional funding for coronavirus vaccines, tests and treatments

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/2022/09/18/biden-covid-pandemic-over/

    excerpt:

President Biden declared the coronavirus pandemic “over,” in apparently off-the-cuff remarks that reflect the growing sentiment that the threat of the virus has receded, even as hundreds of Americans continue to die of covid each day.

“We still have a problem with covid,” Biden said on “60 Minutes,” which aired Sunday night. “We’re still doing a lot of work on it … but the pandemic is over.”

Biden made the remarks Wednesday during an interview at the auto show in Detroit, referencing the crowds at the event. The annual auto show had not been held since 2019.

“If you notice, no one’s wearing masks,” Biden said to CBS News reporter Scott Pelley. “Everybody seems to be in pretty good shape. And so I think it’s changing. And I think this is a perfect example of it.”

While Biden’s comments were extemporaneous, they may complicate his administration’s so far unsuccessful efforts to secure additional funding from Congress for more coronavirus vaccines and treatments and to take other steps intended to combat the virus. Republicans on Sunday night raised questions about why the administration would renew its ongoing public health emergency if the pandemic is over. That emergency declaration, which is set to expire next month, has allowed federal officials to pursue flexible solutions amid the crisis, including rapidly authorizing new covid treatments and keeping many Americans covered by Medicaid, the safety-net health program. The Urban Institute, a think tank that conducts economic and social policy research, has estimated that as many as 15.8 million Americans could lose Medicaid coverage after the government ends its emergency declaration.

Biden hasn’t been perfect and I still think the withdrawal from Afghanistan was horribly handled when it was obvious it would go bad. It’s also true some of his remarks on COVID have been confusing. Legislatively though he’s been the most successful US President in decades.

I would add to your list that the first gun control bill since the 90’s was passed. Also several of these bills have been passed with bipartisan support.

Edit: just saw you did include gun safety bill.

On the other hand Trump did have many “Infrastructure weeks”. I don’t see Kim Jong Un writing love letters to Biden. If Trump just had two more weeks we would’ve had the biggest and best health care plan.

The check for the wall from Mexico just got lost in the mail.

Speaking of Kim Jong Un, Trump bragged again at his latest Q crazed rally how much Kim Jong Un loved him. His obsession with pleasing the dictator types is scary.

People who lived as if it were over within a matter of weeks suddenly upset that the president says it's over.

In seriousness, there was nuance to Biden's comment that the headline doesn't catch. However, he should've avoided saying this as we don't know what will happen in the future when it comes to variants.
