Framber goes for the record Friday most likely vs Baltimore on the road.

It's that fine line all managers walk. Getting their closer some work in a non save situation.

No... he came in to give Tucker a couple of innings off, not as a defensive replacement. Chas in RF and Dubon in CF is better than the opposite.

Fun fact, batters are hitting . 212 during the 25 game streak by Framber, but are only slugging .294.

That's quite amazing how he simply doesn't give up the multi base hit.

Ok I didn’t realize tucker had come out as I stooped watching. Many nights Dusty will pull chas or move him to left and insert Dubon in CF. Chas is a better CF that Dubon. I don’t care about dWAR in this case, you can tell who’s better just by watching.

I agree. Chas in CF and Dubon in LF is better than the opposite, but I think Dubon in CF and Chas in RF is better than the opposite.

Without ever having seen Dubon in RF, I don't want to see Dubon in RF. :)

This. Pressly hadn't pitched since 9/14. Got get him regular work even if its a non-save situation.

You stand by you saying that Javier hasn't been good as a reliever this season?

Yes. He is a misplaced starter. Not a RELIEVER.

Framber Valdez has really surpassed Mike Hampton and Dallas Keuchel as the best Control Pitcher in Astro History

Johan Santana a Former Astro Minor Leaguer had the Record for a Lefty with the Twins

Great game. Saw Framber make history, 11 runs, and my kid ran the bases after the game.

How has he not done well as a reliever this season? It's one thing to say you'd rather see him as a starter, it's entirely inaccurate to say he hasn't been good as a reliever this year.

Show your work. Why hasn't he been good as a reliever this year?

Mariners got swept by the Angels. Magic number down to 1.
