I've been enjoying watching some of my favorite bands/artist performing live during the prime of their career. It's been amazing watching them while they were beginning and just trying to make it. Once a band makes it they go into half ass mode, but catch them early and you'll find some of the most amazing concerts ever. A few of my favorites... limited to youtube of course... Tool Live 1996 The Glass House - Maynard actually trying during a concert is amazing. Rage Against the Machine first performance at Cal State - These fools have no idea what they are watching Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No 1 FULL / Martha Argerich - There are several Argerich's concerts I like but this is my favorite. Nirvana - Live at the Paramount - 10/31/91 - Best of Nirvana
I will be seeing Falco, so I can Rock me some Amadeus. This song was the first time I ever heard music in another language and it made me think, hey, there's probably a lot of good stuff I've never heard before from in other languages.
One of my big regrets living in Minnesota was never seeing one of The Prince pop up shows. He would play these surprise shows at either a local club or at Paisley park.
i got to see nirvana and prince (twice). i would like to have gone back in time and seen hank williams playing at some honky tonk in the 50's. ac/dc first american performance was at the armadillo in austin. that would have been pretty rad. https://ultimateclassicrock.com/acdc-first-u-s-show/ that hendrix show in england that all the big stars went to before he was famous. sgt. pepper had been out for like 3 days and they covered it while mccartney was in the audience. eric clapton said he almost quit playing b/c of this show. i would have shown up with a huge bag of coke and been in claptons ear convincing him to find a new career path.
great scott! on that note, i would also like to go back in time to see marty mcfly bust out johnny b goode at the enchantment under the sea dance.
Your life is a small price to pay for saving the universe from that (talented) insufferable D-Bag. I would remember your sacrifice... you know, if you weren't totally erased from history like you had never existed.
