The team has taken on the persona of its coach. Sloppy. Undisciplined. Careless. "Unlikable" is the perfect summary. They're so obnoxious to watch. Two steps forward, three steps back. That kind of team.

Tank, Tune, and Alton are the real deal. The OL redeemed itself yesterday, so did the DL (good pressure), but like I said last week, every LB and DB on our team is a total turnstyle. They act like they're playing flag football out there. This is their form on every tackle:

    Look, coach! I touched him!

This team is talented enough to rip off 10 wins in a row, but that's such cold comfort at this point because the autobid is in serious jeopardy for the AAC, and the playoff conversation is now dead before it even got started.

Also, did anyone see Tech rushing the field? Lol.

That's the crappy thing is that Dana has just enough talent (himself and the team) to finish with one or two losses. But it's been years now of this sloppy, messy, undisciplined football. Haven't even gotten into recruiting yet where Herman just ran circles around him.

Feels like he likes living in Houston, coaching a 3 loss team to the Liberty Bowl, making 3 mill a year and saying there's always next year.

It's going to be a bumpy ride in the Big 12. That's for sure.

That being said, I do remember the Levine and Applewhite years... And I'll take this over that for certain.

Herman got Ed Oliver. Outside of that his recruiting wasn’t special. He inherited a stacked team and then left in his second season. We never really saw him recruit much. Saying he ran circles around Dana as a recruiter is silly. I’m not a Dana fan.

Herm didn't get Ed Oliver. Ed's HS coach and Ed's brother got Ed Oliver.

    1 - 5 Star
    3 - 4 Star
    13 - 3 Star

Just in 2016. Dana hasn't even gotten close to this type of haul and this was back when UH wasn't even sniffing P5.

no but that class followed one of our best seasons ever and after we had captured the attention of the entire nation for the first time in quite a while. Tom did a great job but he did it with TL’s players. Herman was already starting to falter as a coach and was dropping games to **** teams in year 2. Im not sure he would’ve continued with classes like his first. Its an incomplete grade at best.

We could still get the Frisco Bowl. So let's not panic.

UH is a team in transition for much of this year. We're young, with real talent maturing...much more coming as we enter the Big !2. Dana's an excellent recruiter.. we'll see if he's the guy to finish it off. Regardless, I have no doubts about the powers that be getting it right.

It's tough for this young team getting Tech so early. Playing them straight up, there....second game of the season. It bodes well. If the Coogs can stay healthy, we should be much better at the end of the year.

    .
As to the game...if you can't stop em 4th and 20, you don't deserve it.

    Eat em Up!

Third and draw McGraw. BMW: Brown, Mitchell and Williams. Shea Morenz and the five-way tie. 66 McNown at Austin and H-Town.
