As soon as we got the ball back with like 6 minutes to go in the 4th I knew they were going to just run, run, run to kill clock. BOB used to do that p***y **** and it drives me nuts. As per usual the D knew it was coming and it was a 3 and out.

Only reason this wasn’t a blowout was the turnovers which you just can’t rely upon. The LBs would all be backups or out of the league if it wasn’t for Houston. The insipid zone break don’t bend D was getting picked apart. Colts mistakes kept us in it.

Mills had a lot of terribly inaccurate throws several of which he wasn’t really under pressure. I think he’ll clean that up but his ceiling to me is Case Keenum. He’ll likely end the season around 20-25 best QB and we will use a top 10 pick for competition for next year.

I noticed that too about pitre, specifically at the end of the game and I remember thinking if it was just because he was gassed. Texans offense was doing the defense no favors in the second half

Yes, Pitre had some tackles where he needed to wrap up. He will learn that.
The encouraging thing is the dude was everywhere, in on every play all over the field. Absolute maniac, probably my current favorite Texan

That 3rd and 1 play call out of the timeout in OT was just putrid.

That’s what I saw. The criticisms of him were extremely nit picking, especially after the putrid offense was keeping the defense on the field so long, not to mention the stupid prevent defense most of the second half. Both Lovie and the OC sucked way more than the players did in this game. Mills did a poor job throwing to the sidelines. I suspect he cleans that up. Not playing Pierce was inexplicable. Going for the tie with a re-building team is the most p*ssy thing I think I have ever seen in a pro football game.

Burkhead took 50 of the 70 snaps over Pierce yesterday. That is mind blowing.

Not when it comes to the Texans. Dress it, hype it, claim it all they want...they're the same old sht.

Right, when Pierce runs he looks like hes shot out of a cannon compared to Burkhead. What do defenses have to worry about when Rex is on the field? That hes going to run for 2 yards or run a 2 yard route???? Pierce's numbers dont look great but he also wasnt given the opportunity to get comfortable or get loose with the game flow. Now im sure hes gonna be in his head not trying to screw up because he knows he's on a short leash

A football team can't be loved until it loses a big lead to crush the fans spirits, only then do we know it is a Houston team.

We're a bottom tier team playing for ties lol. What a **** mentality, at least let your guys have experience trying to win the game in crunch time/OT. So in future seasons when our season record may actually matter, we may actually have a sense of how to handle it.

It looked like we were seeing the reincarnation of bust Xavier Su'a-Filo out there.

I call ****ing bullshit on this.

The defense would of never been gassed if Pep and Mills could keep the offense on the field. Pierce should of been out there running smash mouth football, even if he had that trash center Britt blocking for him.

I don't believe that for a second. He deserves more credit than that, especially considering his lack of experience. He will get better, not worse. Mark my words.

I wonder where we rank among other teams in bandwagon fans, player bashing fans, and fans wanting to tank after one week. Why even watch if all you want is to tank? Ridiculous.
