Again, how he ranks against one draft class is irrelevant.

    Bro you project A LOT.

You think other people are doing what YOU ARE doing.

Mills is your “man-crush”…i get it.

Stating Davis Mills is trash is not a stretch…it’s facts.

    We’ve all seen it.

You continuing to bring up (insert any QB) because Mills is trash as a means to compare doesn’t make Mills better.

This is the part you seem to not get…

Mills is playing because the Texans KNOW he’s the best chance they have at getting the #1 pick.

    Hahaha…

    And you don’t see it…LMAO

That’s all you can compare him to.
He has every physical attribute you can ask for in a new age QB, and he’s put up numbers with minimal surrounding talent.

You think Mills is trash, yet he’s better than your man crush. Do you not see the irony there?
Mills is your QB. He is the future of this franchise for right now. So get used to it

Lovies should gave gone mea culpa in the post game presser. Instead he doubled down and admitted a) he had no confidence in his offense to gain 3 yards and b) he had no confidence in his defense to stop the Colts from gaining 15 yards.

If he had gone for it, maybe we win, maybe we lose, but the team would have owned it either way by either learning how to win or learning how not to lose. Learning how to tie is just awful and 100% pointless.

Some times when you tie, you actually lose......

I still can’t believe how much they used burkhead. Where can we find snap counts? I want to see what the split was between him and Pierce

It had to be at least 70/30 in total snaps

This kind of simplistic stuff loses me. Rodgers lost today. Rodgers managed all of 7 points. Burrow lost today. Their teams lost. Are they losers?

Mills has a really small sample size to judge off…but narrowing that down to him not winning 1 game where his team tied and the opposing team’s QB who has been a league MVP and a Super Bowl caliber QB also tied…is just wild to me.

I wouldn't call Mills "trash" but he damn sure ain't the guy to get fans to rally behind... He ok for now.. As we accumulate more talent and develop them *cough* , he doesn't seem like the guy I'd say lead this 9/10 win team into a SB contender.. But we'll see.. I'll be checkin it out from a distance tho.. Can't put my all into these mfers no time soon ..

Team success and QB playing well doesn’t always go hand in hand. Measuring Mills progress and ability based on team success isn’t fair either.
This team is lacking talent. Everyone’s savior, Watson led a team to 4 wins that had more talent than this current team.

I’m not comparing him to Rodgers. I’m pointing out how silly it is to judge a quarterback off 1 game.
But if he repeated these exact same stats from today over a 17 game season he’d have over 4000 yards passing and 34 TDs and I promise you they aren’t moving on from that.

A bust because of injuries, not talent. When healthy, is a top 10 back. 18 carries, 164 yards, 1 TD. 6 catches, 30 yards. Today.

This is a well done post.

I’d argue that he’s likely to improve, as are his young teammates. We will see. I’m not ready to coronate or condemn him after today’s game though. And I’m not going to call him a loser because he lost a game today.

Why do I get the feeling Davis Mills could improve his production, fine tune the basics that he needed to work on…throw for 4500-5000 yards with 35 plus TDs , minimal INT and a 100 QBR and yet fools would still call him trash ? Because I see him approaching that based on his last 5 games last year and game 1 this year …
