This is absolute weaksauce on Lovie's part. Never, EVER play for a freaking tie. Ties suck, period. I hated that 3rd down call.
Definitely tried to give them a chance….. Not playing Pierce more is laughable. Mills ain’t it. He doesn’t even look for Nico. Hopefully this tie doesn’t hurt our Draft position, but knowing the Texans….it will.
So aggressive mediocrity is OK for Lovie, but not for BOB? This is literally a textbook asschin game, not good, not bad, just..average.
how does this even phase folks unless they thought the texans were going to make noise this year (lol!). this doesn't compare to any Oilers playoff loss, or the Texans losing an even bigger lead to the Chiefs in the playoffs a couple years ago. this regular season game amongst two terrible teams shouldn't even register
Colts kept giving the game to this game away on a silver platter & Texans were like hmmm how about we share... ****ing loser ass mentality
They arent not drafting Caleb Williams...lol. Mills played ok. Play calling and the lack of Pierce didn't help.
are yall listening to yourselves? you would rather lose than tie? that's dumb. this sucks because this should have been a win, but a tie is not worse than an L, lol
I don't expect them to make noise but I expect them to be better. The same crap year after year. I never compare this to a playoff loss. I'm listing examples of a joke of franchise.
Team packed it in at the beginning of the 4th quarter. Defense was content to give up chunk plays as long as it wasn't anything deep. Offense went super conservative even though we were only averaging 3 ypc. Almost lost us the game. Despite the decision to play for the tie, they were lucky to salvage that much out of it.
Colts kicker did everything he could to help the Texans by kicking 2 kickoffs out of bounds and missing the FG but Texans said, thanks but no thanks.
A tie is obviously not worse than an L but at this stage of the development of this franchise you absolutely go for it in that situation and live with the results.
