Normally, I am not a shallow person, but he is way to ugly to put on my favorite team's uniform.

I'd like Ostertag as a backup, if we could get him for little money.

Dude had some GREAT games against Hakeem.

Plus, I cannot disrespect a guy who gave a kidney to help another person survive.

Otag plays well once in about every 10 games. He's a bad player. MoT is a much, much better player.

I could hold Ostertag. He doesn't belong in the NBA.

    He doesn't even try.

Sure, but you know what, Rox would rather give MoT away for NOTHING if a team can pick up his salary.

    Ostertag???????????
    Are you serious?????
The same Ostertag that got bytchslapped by Shaq and propmtly folded up like a $5 lawn chair?
Even Karl Malone was upset that Ostertag did not stand up for himself.

Please....I'd rather keep MoT. and play him at the 5, at least then I know there won't be any bytchslapping going on.

I think this is the main reason folks hate this guy so much in this city. Yes I think he had ONE great game against Dream in like the 98' first round series w/ the jAZZ(I think). I think I could had coped with that a little better if Ostertag went on to actually become a decent big man instead of returning to scrub-scurity.

I'd rather sit on Mo's contract.

If we could get Ostertag for a decent price, I'd take him.

As for those that they say "Stay Away Utah", or "Osterfag", or he's "Ugly" - Grow up!!!

If he comes and peforms well off the bench, he'll be a sentimental favorite. I didn't think that he was worth the inflated contract he had in Utah. Utah had their chance at a ring and could not cash in.

Now if GregO starts asking for 8 mil a year, he can just keep looking.

if ostertag was on the rockets, then we would have two p*****s at center. both soft as tissue.

What's wrong with getting Ostertag? He's a fine back up center at 31. Get him cheap and CD should open up a bottle of champaign. Why hate him because he had a couple of good games against Hakeem and he's a Jazz player? The former shows his defense, the latter doesn't make sense. I thought we want Carlos Arroyo from the same team.

Ostertag played about the same minutes as Cato did last year. He had a higher field percentage, scored more, blocked more, passed more and rebounded more. Ostertag is actually an upgrade over Cato stat wise. If you guy think Ostertag is bad, then Cato would be pathetic.

If we sign Ostertag cheap, it'll be like trading only Francis and Mobley while keeping Cato, with Cato's game being improved and his contract cut by millions. How does that sound? Simply good my friends.

    NO WAY !!!

Tell Yao to quit whining and get rebounds, and let JH get his 8, and MoT off the bench.

    Ostertag....PUHHHLLEAAASEEE

Get Skinner, or Collier, but not the lazy Tag.

Trading Steve and Cat raised the basketball team's IQ, but obviously not the BBS' IQ.

To me,we need to upgrade defensively(rebounds and defense) at the four.We also need to unload MoTay's contract. Also, there aren't many former Jazz players that I would want, including Ostertag.
How about a combo of Howard and a gritty, hard working 4?
