You would be better able to control what fees and tariffs you are paying. There are already government functions that operate on use fees (see the Post Office or the National Parks). If I want to go to Yosemite, then I should pay an entry fee to use the park that pays for maintenance of the park. If I want to drive on a road, I can pay a toll that pays for maintenance of the road. If I want healthcare, I can pay for it or buy insurance. If I want income in retirement, then I can invest part of my paycheck in some asset that will provide me with income in the future. Ultimately, my use of services would be directly proportional to the costs I am paying for those services. Under the current model, I am using very little in the way of services, but am paying a lot (mostly for other people to get services). So, I think I would live my normal life and pay much less than I do now. The tariffs would simply pay for the military (something we all either use all the time or never use, depending on your perspective).

I say triple that even though it already is more than the next 9 countries combined. I am all for bombing people all over Africa and Asia.

Need cops, pay the fee beforehand as u r getting robbed, if u want a swat team pay up. Need to take a sht in a public restroom, got to pay the fee for every flush, inch of tp, water to wash your hand. U using the streetlights? Gonna have to pay the fees for every u pass. Toll both on freeway exits. Kid going to public school? Got to pay the fee for the education, maybe racking up student loans at an even earlier age. Fees for everything is quite literally the stupidest thing ever. The price isn't capped.
