I actually saw that when it was in the theatres. Very funny, unknown movie. That's the best Leone (sp) has ever looked.

I hope y'all stayed for the very end of all the credits, when Ben Stiller does his milkshake dance.

If you want the funnier, first version of "Whitey Goodman", check out Heavyweights.

Weird, I'd never heard of this movie until you mentioned it here...and it's on Disney Channel right now!

I don't "hate" becasue it's popular, I hate because it's lame and unoriginal.

I forgot about this, but the director of Dodgeball is also the genius behind Terry Tate: Office Linebacker.

What's really cool is that when he first started writing the script for Dodgeball, he was a no-name. The two characters he had in mind for the leads? Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn. How awesome is that?

I love Vince Vaughn, but this movie was horrible. I honestly can't believe anyone actually liked it. What was funny about it? The characters had zero character development, the pirate guy made no sense and was never funny, their were three different nerds and they were all pointless and not funny. Just because Stiller and Vaughn make a movie now it's like everyone is supossed to love it just because they are in it. Other than a few funny lines this movie's script must have taken 10-15 minutes to write.

It's just a mindless, fun summer comedy. I wasn't expecting Schindler's List or something.

AH! I was wondering when the 'guy who didn't like it' would show up. :D

Can't have too much unchecked fun in a movie thread, now can we?

Though I gotta say, regarding your criticisms...what exactly did you think you were going to see? It was a movie about dodgeball.

I just saw it about an hour ago.

I thought it was ok. There are some funny parts, but I thought Old School was way funnier. BTW when the hell is Old School 2 coming out??

Ben Stiller wasnt very funny to me, I liked Vaughn, and Jason Bateman as the co-anchor to Lumberg was freaking hilarious.....

The premise seems tired and old, but everybody loves the underdog story and Im a sucker for it every once in a while too.

    Id give it a B-
