Astros would now have to go 15-16 to finish short of 100 wins.

What's the point of paying someone that kind of money with Dusty deciding his limited playing time?

You would think the Angels would at least have a better record than the Rangers for all the headlines they get on MLB. Yet Rangers do.

You would also think the Astros would get more headlines on MLB being atop the AL. Like the Yanks did for the 1st half of the season, even for smallest of crap. Now it's not about the "torrid" or "dominant" Yanks, it's now about their sluggers home runs. Unless they win a game, then it's some headline about the win.

The Astros "scraped by" in August with a 16-11 record.

Good thing we're done with August, time to make a run into the playoffs...and can we please get hot into the playoffs. For some reason I have this bad feeling about the Cardinals and them making it into the WS vs Astros.

That is pretty bad. That is several missed calls even if it were under MLB's generous error zone for grading umpires.

And it wasn't that they were missed... they were really missed.

And lastly you would also think they would be making a huge deal out of the fact the Yankees are 30-36 in their last 66 games, probably bottom 10 in the majors since June 18.

But alas, crickets. Nothing to see here, apparently.

That team is mediocre and one and done come playoff time.
