The whole Weird Al vs Coolio thing has always been blown out of proportion. From what I have read and seen, Coolio was always okay with Weird Al doing Amish Paradise but felt that he would lose his "street cred" if he said he liked it, so he put on this act that he was "outraged" just to make himself and his image look cool.

I'm way more interested in weird al's actual life/story than whatever this thing is.

If it's a clever parody, then maybe that's the point?

Eric Appel - one of the creators and director is a very funny human being. It has a good cast as well. I'll watch it.

I'm more interested now that I know it's a fake biopic. The real story can be told in a documentary or book.

I didn't know anything about this movie until the trailer, but I didn't even think he was actually involved with this.
