At Decatur High School we played war ball, which is a gaylord box full of deflated dodgeballs, basketballs, and one side of the gym would launch these at the other side in dodgeball fashion. Is this Bombardment ?
Here is how it would go. Last names A-L to one side of the gym, M-Z the other. The game would start with 3 balls, fully inflated, about 8" in diameter or so. One side would wait and gather all three before a full attack on the other usually. You could only move towards your opponent to a line about 30' from the back of their end of the court. So basically, the team with the ball(s) would line up as close to their opponent as possible, and throw their balls at their opponents. If you hit them while the ball was in the air, they were removed from the game, unless they caught it, and then the player throwing the ball was out. This would go on until one team had no players left. For some reason, M-Z seemed to always win.
No Obtuseness is a tool heavily used in politics though. So maybe thats 2 political posts now. I liked when you called it the “Dungeons and dumbasses” board. That cracked me up. You can go there and complain all day about how children are raised today vs back in 1936.
LOL. Sad too though, because he was our CF of the future. Hopefully he gets right and gets back one day. It was painful watching him play.
I didn't listen but somebody said his brother was on 790 earlier this afternoon and didn't sound concerned. Apparently he didn't get tested until later in the evening (around 4:30 to 5-ish). At this point we'll just have to wait until tomorrow.
