Again, I ask: right about what? He can't always be wrong so of course he's been right about something, but what was he right about? That's what matters.
Alex Jones is nuts, but he is right some of the time... so about the equivalent of a right wing CNN....
Kind of sad to see the way identity politics has infiltrated every aspect of our society. Sport used to be a sanctuary.
He was definitely not right about Sandy Hook! All that backpedaling and squirming he did on the witness stand was pretty funny. "But judge Im only worth X Amount of dollars that settlement would bankrupt me" LOL.
I was no fan of Royce White, after the debacle he caused after the Rockets drafted him. But, at the end of the day, the dude had conviction. He turned down essentially 10’s of millions of dollars, if he were to only be an average player, or perhaps well over 100 million if he turned into the star many were anticipating. Hence, I never faulted him for what trouble he brought the Rockets. I still think he’s a bit off kilter, but he still has conviction for how he believes. I do miss the time when everyone treated everyone with respect, regardless of the personal opinions they held, and were not physically hurting someone. Perhaps one day we will all embrace that as a society at some point in the future while many of us are still alive.
This is a generous perspective. But when people have unfounded conviction in their beliefs, it often leads to everybody else getting treated with a lack of respect.
He doesn't have conviction, he is mentally ill and impulsive and has a history of domestic violence. He is a shitty person, and rather than get help he counts on being able to grift people, and right now the easy grifting is with the Alex Jones and Q people who will believe anything.
THIS. …insane that politicians have become so fake that we almost prefer the crazy people who believe the crap they say over people who are far more measured but clearly don’t care about their constituents. It’s especially sad now those politicians are exploiting those unaware crazies for political gains. Royce is sadly just another of a trend of sports figure marks being used to subvert a legit representative democracy.
I would like to point out there is plenty of crazy in the NBA too... Go look up what Lebron had to say about the Malcolm X biography he read... Rodman doing his thing (everyone knows it's an act) Chris Anderson Sprewell Etc.
Right about what? Parkland shooting was a hoax and the parents were crisis actors? Yea get that sht out of here and go back to the d and d
Pandemic, Great Reset, riots going into 2020 elections, erosion of all constitutional rights. Just a few things.
Was right? Like past tense? Is this a big-brain move? He was right, now he's not? You know, disappointing basketball careers aside I'd just like to say the United States of America has far too many people arguing against making things better. I don't particularly spend a lot of time in public thinking this is the best we could do. Then you say something obvious like, "maybe college shouldn't cost so much" and you get weird looks like you just stabbed a puppy. Alex Jones is an enabler of side eyes from silly people and we could all use a little less of it.
