I don't understand this Lost talk. That show had a good first dozen episodes but turned bad pretty quickly. As far as House of Dragons in comparison to Game of Thornes the quality in production is immediate apparent. I'm interested intot he origins of Lord Corlys Velaryon.
It started with a huge mysterious bang and ended with a whimper, like GOT. It's the same in that there was huge promise and an equally huge let down that "that was it?". I was all in on Lost for at least 2.5 seasons
I read an article that said one of the spinoff shows that is in development is his years sailing all over the world when he was much younger (hence a different actor).
I think a lot of people would argue that the first couple of seasons of Lost may have been the best show on TV at the time. GOT had the potential to go down in history as one of the greatest shows ever, and 75% of the last 2 seasons basically immediately removed it from cultural relevancy. There may have not been a larger and faster downfall of a pop culture property ever. While the heights of Lost may have not been near the highs of GOT, its a similar trajectory. A literal pop culture phenomenon is basically erased from the collective thoughts of the entire world due to the disappointment. David Benioff and Dan Weiss have basically made themselves poison. Apparently it was all their decisions. HBO and George RR Martin wanted to craft a better and longer ending to GOT and they wanted to move on. HBO even offered to hire new show runners, but they wanted all the credit. Well, they got it. As far as House of Dragons is concerned, the first episode was excellent and I have high hopes.
I’m glad my man Billy Ocean is in the show Is that his Caribbean queen ? @Jontro @Reeko @Rocket River
Man, Viserys made the winter bad guys sound awesome. Can’t wait until they get to that part in the show.
Milly Alcock from Sydney, Australia. Born on April 11, 2000. Don't recognize any of her earlier work.
I was skeptical going into the first episode, but I really enjoyed it. I hope the high quality continues.
Haven't watched yet (should I?) - but from the previews I can tell they really NAILED the inbred white people look. Which fits of course. "fascinating look" lulz
