Forget about Steve, the one who will shine is Mobley.

SF's stats will remain the same, but Mobley will consistenly out-performe him.

    Exactly.

I think Steve slept with some of these guys' wives.

i think steve and the magic will probly have a really good year over there, looking at the division that they are in. so good, in fact, that some people around here will start complaining about mcgrady taking too many shots and yao not getting the ball enough.....again. we will probly have a stretch of the season where we lose a bunch of games. if not, great, but more than likely, we will end up 3rd or 4th in the division (cause its so freaking stacked). therefore, i propose that right now, everyone should agree to not complain about the trade for at least a full season. (yeah right):p

How did he lie? CD explained all that on the radio. Steve asked were the looking to trade him, CD and JVG said no they were not looking for a deal. Many other teams gave trade proposals, but when Orlando called, it was hard to turn down. So how is that lying? It is not like they had him out there as trade bait. They were approached and took the deal for a superstar. I am tired of SF and others acting like the Rockets guaranteed that SF would not be traded and then traded him. That is not what happened.

I wish SF the best of luck, but unless his defense steps it up, this could be a long year for him. Look at who he has to see multiple times this season: Kidd, Marbury, Billups, Wade, Hinrich, etc. I hope he steps it up or he could be getting embarrassed multiple times this season.

What goes around comes around. The people in Vancouver were very unhappy at one time also.

say you ask your boss if they are looking to replace you, and he says no, then a week later you are asked to clean your desk, and this too you hear from the janitor, I would call that lying weather they got one hell of a replacement or not... but thats besides the point, ppl get off francis's nuts, he led us to a sweep of the central and one lousy game from the playoffs a few years ago, dont hate... if your on the YAO bandwagon, stay on, dont dog a brother on your stay there... but imstill happy for US, TMAC, HELL YA

PRIMADONNA--ALL of you who think Steve was a good fit are probably the same guys who want the ball all the time under your neighborhood pavillions and get pissed when someone plays defense against you. This kid is the epitome of the selfishness that is killing sports for alot of people. As for JVG lying to him, maybe he was actually lied to first way back in early FEB. Once again Steve is not taking responsibility for his own shortcomings. He's always been quick to point his fingers at everyone else. FACE IT STEVE AND ALL THOSE THAT DON"T GET THE REALITY THAT STEVE IS ATHLETIC BUT HAS THE BASKETBALL IQ OF FORREST GUMP-YOU WILL NEVER WIN IT AS THE FIRST OPTION IN THIS LEAGUE. He acts like he's a team player but he's in reality just another playground carryover in a league that couldn't shoot its way out of an daycare center and has the fundamentals of a 2 year old (my apologies to all the two year olds on the planet)....ok a fetus. This league needs a real developmental league quick before Hubie Brown dies.

all yall who are bashing steve need to piss off. the guy was a team leader with his play on the court. he never stopped and he always wanted to win. yeah he had his problems but the guy's heart could never be questioned. i wish we really could have kept him and i keep telling myself after this deal was done that we did the right thing by getting tmac. but i guess i wont be convinced until i actually see it. i really miss franchise being in houston.

I agree, the bashing should cease, the guy is no longer on our team so live and let live.

But, another thing that should stop, is the "he had heart, his heart this his heart that" bantering.. It's really nauseating (sp?).
Many of us that wanted Steve to leave, those not "haters" as it were, took notice of his heart and applauded it. Can those who were against him leaving not stop leaning on his "heart" so much, and notice his lack of brains and team hindering flaws with a bit more than "yeah yeah he had some bad things too BUT"?

    That is all. :)

I like Francis as a player and a person who can put out 100% of his game night in, night out.

GOOD LUCK STEVIE!! You are still my favourite PG!!

We talk about ex-Rockets (atleast the ones Rox fans care about) here all the time.
